A lightweight and relatively soft wood, 3-ply spruce is composed of three crossed layers of solid spruce: the central layer is oriented perpendicularly to the two outer layers. This construction significantly improves dimensional stability and mechanical resistance, while maintaining the warm aesthetic of solid wood.

Appearance

Natural light color, varying between pale-yellow and cream, likely to darken slightly over time.

• Face appearance: wavy grain, medium contrast and moderately dense, punctuated by regular dark knots typical of spruce.
• Edge appearance: the three plies offer a visible contrast of alternating wood orientations.

Applications

Suitable for indoor and outdoor use, it is the most affordable wood option for all kinds of signage projects (signs, wall logos, decoration, personalized objects...). For outdoor use, the application of a protective treatment is essential to ensure optimal durability depending on exposure conditions.

A dense and naturally durable wood, 3-ply larch is composed of three crossed layers of solid larch: the central layer is oriented perpendicularly to the two outer layers. This construction significantly improves dimensional stability and mechanical resistance, while maintaining the warm aesthetic of solid wood.

Appearance

Natural light brown color, varying from beige-orange to reddish-brown, likely to darken in sunlight.

• Surface appearance: wavy grain of varying density, marked and contrasted, punctuated by regular dark knots and resin pockets characteristic of larch.
• Edge appearance: the three plies offer a visible contrast of alternating wood orientations.

Applications

Denser and more contrasted than spruce, larch naturally fits into a higher range. It is ideal for showcasing the authenticity of wood in signage or decoration projects, creating a warm atmosphere or asserting a mountain aesthetic. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, 3-ply larch panels are the reference solution for outdoor signs with wood-cut letters in a natural wood look. In this case, the application of a protective treatment is highly recommended to guarantee optimal durability according to exposure conditions.

Hard and homogeneous wood, the constitution of which does not generate splinters. Glued laminated beech is composed of several solid beech strips assembled by gluing, making it possible to obtain homogeneous pieces of large dimensions while guaranteeing dimensional stability.

Appearance

Light natural color, varying between cream, pinkish-beige and light brown, likely to darken slightly over time.

• Face appearance: fine grain and regular, absence of marked grain patterns and apparent knots. The alternation of strips creates a regular linear pattern characteristic of glued laminated wood.
• Edge appearance: solid and identical to the face.

Applications

Adapted for indoor use, beech is particularly prized for kitchen utensils and wooden toys thanks to its naturally smooth surface and lack of splinters, making it an excellent choice for applications in contact with food (chopping boards) or children (decorations and wooden letters). For possible outdoor use, we recommend a sheltered location and the application of a suitable protective treatment to preserve its durability.

Noble wood from temperate regions, with high density, making it hard and resistant. Glued laminated oak is composed of several solid oak strips assembled by gluing, making it possible to obtain homogeneous pieces of large dimensions while guaranteeing dimensional stability.

Warm natural color, varying from golden-beige to honey-brown, likely to patinate over time.

• Face appearance: pronounced grain, relatively contrasting grain pattern. The alternation of strips creates a regular linear pattern characteristic of glued laminated wood.

Applications

Glued laminated oak is suitable for signage creations indoors. Its warm tones make it a preferred choice for wooden logos and wall lettering. Although oak possesses appreciable natural resistance, for outdoor use we recommend a sheltered location and the application of a suitable protective treatment in order to optimize its durability.

Bamboo is a particularly dense natural material. In panel form, it is composed of bamboo strips assembled by high-pressure gluing, offering stable dimensions and high mechanical resistance.

Laminated bamboo consists of non-butt-jointed strips giving a true solid look to the material.

3-ply bamboo consists of an assembly of 3 layers of strips, where the central layer is oriented perpendicularly to the other two, for better stability at low thickness.

Appearance

The natural variant offers a light shade in beige and pale yellow tones.

The caramel variant features a golden-brown shade (obtained by high-temperature thermal treatment without chemical additives).

• Face appearance: dense and regular linear texture formed by the assembly of bamboo strips, fine grain, and discreet knots distributed homogeneously.
• Laminated edge appearance: solid look, longitudinal or strip texture depending on the edge orientation.
• 3-ply edge appearance: visible contrast from the alternating orientations of the 3 layers.

Applications

Bamboo brings a contemporary aesthetic and a unique visual signature. Its regular linear pattern and the absence of large knots offer a minimalist and sleek result for all letter or shape cuts. Evoking serenity and harmony, bamboo is preferred for signage in the wellness, hospitality sectors, or contemporary offices. Bamboo is recommended for indoor use. In case of eventual outdoor use, a sheltered location and the application of an appropriate protective treatment are essential to preserve its durability against weather and humidity variations.

Our supplier's raw material is bamboo grown in Asia according to the FSC label (responsibly and sustainably managed forests), as well as production under ISO control, from raw material to finishing.

This plywood is composed of okoume plies (layers) glued perpendicularly to each other. This cross-construction gives the material excellent dimensional stability in all directions and optimal mechanical resistance.

It is water-repellent with an NF CTBX certification (External Wood Technical Plywood) which guarantees resistance to outdoor conditions and humid environments.

Appearance

Natural color varying from salmon-pink to brown, susceptible to darkening and graying in case of prolonged exposure to UV and humidity.

• Face appearance: fine grain, texture without a distinct orientation with marbled and cloud-like color variations, possible presence of occasional knots.
• Edge appearance: alternating cross plies create a layered and contrasted pattern characteristic of plywood.

Applications

Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, and resistant to all humidity conditions thanks to its CTBX rating. Unpretentious in aesthetics, it is primarily a material with technical qualities. It is thus particularly recommended for applications requiring lightness and foolproof stability: furniture, fittings, formwork. In the field of signs and signage, it is an ideal choice for outdoor projects colored with a covering paint.

Origins

Okoume comes mainly from equatorial Africa (Gabon, Cameroon, Congo). Our suppliers select FSC-certified sources guaranteeing responsible forest management.

Genuine solid wood designed for laser processing requirements and small decorative parts. The wood is cut with precision and without splinters, even for very fine cuts.

Appearance

Our woods for laser manufacturing are covered with a satin finish varnish.

Face appearance:

• Maple: light cream shade, fine grain, discreet and low-contrast grain creating a soft and uniform look, with occasional waviness.
• Oak: intermediate brown/caramel shade, pronounced grain, textured surface with marked grain and the presence of medullary rays typical of oak.
• Walnut: relatively dark brown/chocolate shade, pronounced grain, rich and contrasting grain with sinuous and marbled patterns.

Edge appearance:

Due to the laser cutting process, the edges are burned during machining, resulting in a darker color than the face and a solid texture due to the solid wood.

Applications

Recommended for indoor use only. Specifically adapted for laser cutting and engraving, these solid woods are the materials of choice for lettering and detailed shapes, especially in small dimensions. They are ideal for relief wall signage, lettering for museography, decorative signs, and fine interior decoration pieces.
