We currently offer 2 delivery methods:
Shipping costs are indicated after validating your cart and entering a delivery address.
For metropolitan France*, the flat rate is €12 excluding tax / €14.40 including tax for home delivery, and €9 excluding tax / €10.80 including tax for pickup points, regardless of the order volume.
(* except for Corsica and a few specific remote communes; for these destinations, an additional charge may be applied and indicated at the time of delivery choice).
For other destinations outside metropolitan France, shipping costs are calculated based on the estimated weight of your order and indicated at the 'Delivery' step.
Since our products are made-to-order, it is important to distinguish between the manufacturing time and the delivery time, which together constitute the total timeframe for receiving your order.
The manufacturing time depends on the volume and options of your order, as well as our workshop's production schedule. It is currently between 10 and 15 days.
The delivery time in metropolitan France is generally 24 to 48 hours from the date of shipment.
Approximate values for these timeframes are displayed at the bottom of our product configurator pages as well as at the bottom of the Cart page. We always try to be as responsive as possible so that the actual timeframes are shorter than those indicated.
You can pay for your order by:
These payment methods will be presented at the final payment step of your order, after validating your cart and selecting your delivery options.
Some materials do not allow for chamfers: their thickness is too thin (e.g., aluminum composites) or their structure is not suitable (e.g., multi-ply plywood).
To create chamfers, the thinnest parts of your letters or shape must have a certain minimum width.
If the size of your letters or shape is too small to allow for chamfers, the dimensions will be automatically adjusted when you choose this option. A message will immediately notify you of this change.
Some materials are technically not compatible with snapfix locators. These include 5 mm and 10 mm thick plywood.
The snapfix locators option requires positioning several fixing points in various locations on the letters or shapes, with a relatively significant footprint (15mm diameter).
If the size of your letters or shape is too small to properly position the standoffs, the dimensions will be automatically adjusted when you choose this option. A message will immediately notify you of this change.
The font size defines the overall dimension of the letters in a text.
For a given size, not all letters will have the same dimensions: an "E" will be larger than an "e", just as a "p" will extend lower than an "A". The font size encompasses all letters, which is why its value is always larger than the height of any individual letter.
While the font size will indeed be used to adjust the dimensions of your text, what will ultimately matter are the total height and total width obtained.
The capital height is simply an indicative value of the chosen typography, approximately based on the height of the letter "H" (uppercase).
However, letters such as "O", "Q", "A", "M" will be slightly taller due to their points or curves, and in this case, the total height is greater than the capital height.
Our configurators are designed to only allow parameters for visuals that will be possible to manufacture.
In order to be machined, a visual (letters or shapes) must respect various technical constraints: among others, the thinnest parts must be thick enough not to break, and the open or hollow areas must have sufficient space to allow the milling tool to pass through.
The diameter of the milling tool directly depends on the thickness of the material.
Additionally, certain options (chamfer, snapfix locators) also impose their own dimensional constraints.
This is why the font size limit in the configurator is linked to the chosen typography (based on its style, level of detail, thinness), the thickness of the material, and the choice of certain finishing or mounting options.
So if you want to obtain smaller letters, we first recommend trying a thinner material, then possibly removing certain options (if applicable: chamfer or snapfix locators), or considering other typefaces.
If you can't bring together all the desired parameters, it means your project exceeds the limits of what is technically feasible for us.
Unfortunately, computer keyboards, due to their limited number of keys, do not easily allow for certain basic typographic characters, such as the true curved apostrophe, or French quotation marks. For example, the apostrophe obtained with the dedicated key on your keyboard will be a straight apostrophe (which is actually a character originally adapted for mathematics and computer code), whereas the real typographic apostrophe has a comma shape and is much prettier.
To obtain these characters, you can use the Character Map tool on Windows or the Special Characters window on Mac. But the simplest way is to copy and paste the characters directly from below:
’ « » “ ” ‘ ’
Please note that in rare cases, these characters may not be supported by certain typefaces in our configurator, in which case you will receive a notification.
We do not sell full plates or panels.
The maximum dimension we can provide is a 1x1 m square (available by configuring the "square" shape in our shape configurator).
For larger dimensions, we recommend consulting a materials wholesaler.
Our wooden letters and shapes are delivered free from any protective treatment (except for CTBX plywood, which is waterproofed during its manufacturing as raw panels).
You can use them naturally, or, depending on the context of your project, apply a treatment adapted to your use: protection (water-repellent, fungicide, anti-UV) and/or appearance (varnish, paint, lacquer...) For outdoor installation, we particularly recommend applying a very long-lasting clear varnish.
It depends on the intended use.
Indoors: no treatment is necessary; untreated wood will simply tend to darken slightly over time due to natural light.
Outdoors: wood has two main enemies: UV (ultraviolet rays from sunlight) and moisture. Under their action over time, untreated wood products will show natural phenomena of graying and localized deformations (cracking, swelling, warping).
We therefore recommend, where possible, installing wood products in sheltered outdoor areas, and avoiding placements that would promote water stagnation on the wood.
Additionally, to optimize the longevity of your wooden letters or shapes outdoors, we recommend applying a water-repellent and anti-UV protective treatment before installation, such as a very long-lasting clear varnish.
Note that in some cases, premature aging of wood may be deliberately sought for aesthetic reasons (a "weathered wood" effect).
For wood creations intended for outdoor use (signage or decoration), we recommend the following woods: 3-ply larch (19 or 26 mm thick), or 3-ply spruce (19 or 27 mm thick). These two softwoods naturally have good resistance to outdoor conditions, and their cross-ply structure ensures excellent dimensional stability.
However, since wood is a material of living origin, it will naturally tend to evolve over time (darken or turn gray under the action of UV rays and rain, crack and warp due to temperature variations).
Therefore, to optimize the durability of your wooden decor outdoors, we recommend applying a water-repellent and anti-UV protective treatment before installation, such as a very long-lasting clear varnish.
Note that you can also consider CTBX okoumé plywood (5, 10, or 18 mm thick), which is already completely waterproofed.

For creative hobbies or interior decoration, you can use any type of paint. However, we recommend acrylic paint (available in all art supply or craft stores).
For outdoor projects (signage or signs), we recommend using paint specially designed for wood, which you can find in a specialized store (if in doubt, ask for advice in the store).
Yes.
For creative hobbies or interior decoration, we recommend using acrylic paint (available in all art supply or craft stores).
For outdoor projects (signage or signs), there are acrylic or glycero paints specifically formulated for PVC, which you can find in a specialized store (if in doubt, ask for advice in the store). To optimize paint adhesion, it may be wise to first sand the smooth faces of the letters (fine grain type 80-100), then clean with a non-greasy product (like isopropyl alcohol or acetone). We also recommend applying 2 coats of paint to ensure good color density.
Please note that since expanded PVC is porous on the edges, paint applied there will tend to be absorbed and the color will be attenuated. If you absolutely want a smooth result on the edges, you can first apply a smoothing filler/putty.
For letters or shapes fixed with snapfix locators, the distance between the back of the piece and the support will be approximately 15 mm.
We do not offer installation services.
Furthermore, with our mounting options and positioning template methods, our products are designed to be easily installed with minimal equipment and technical knowledge.
If, however, installation is a service you absolutely want to outsource, we recommend consulting a decorator or sign maker in your region.
You can consult us about manufacturing your own visual via our Custom cutting service. We recommend first familiarizing yourself with the technical constraints and recommendations for preparing your cutting file on our Technical constraints page.
Simply tell us what this typeface is that you would like (use our Contact page for this). If it's feasible, we will then consider adding it to the list of typefaces on our website; otherwise, we will recommend the closest one among the typefaces already online.
Additionally, we inform you that if you are a graphic arts professional or if you master a vector drawing software, you can consult us about manufacturing your own visual via our custom cutting service.
In this case, describe to us the pictogram you would like (use our Contact page for this). If it's feasible and we find it relevant for our website, we will then consider adding it to one of our collections.
Additionally, we inform you that if you are a graphic arts professional or if you master a vector drawing software, you can consult us about manufacturing your own visual via our custom cutting service.
We do not offer graphic design services.
For this, we recommend contacting a specialist (communication agency, design studio, freelance graphic designer...)
You have the option to download a PDF quote summarizing your entire cart by going to the last step of the order process before payment.
To do this:
We do not offer preferential rates for resellers; we offer a single manufacturer price, which is generally among the lowest on the market (for comparable product characteristics).
Individual customers or direct professional users who benefit from this configure their own project online via our configurators, and then handle the installation themselves.
Professional resellers (communication agencies, sign makers, decorators, fitters...) generally provide added values such as a complete graphic study or installation, which are services we do not offer.
They are then free to apply the commission they wish.
However, if your project represents an exceptionally large volume and amount, we encourage you to consult us beforehand so that we can possibly calculate a specific commercial discount for your project.
All our products are machined and made by us at our workshop located in Claix, France.
A printed paper invoice is systematically included in your package.
In addition, a digital version is also available from your customer area on our site (section My orders).
