The chamfer option corresponds to a thin flattening of the edges of the letter or the cut-out shape. The chamfering is done at 45° on the front-facing edges, with a width of 2 to 3 mm when viewed from the front. This results in an average flat width of 3 to 4 mm.
Additionally, we perform adaptive chamfering with corner dash, meaning it respects the original design of the shape, which is much more elegant than a standard chamfer that would be obtained by simple contouring after cutting.
The chamfer option thus offers many aesthetic advantages:
Comparison of an expanded PVC cut-out letter, with and without the chamfer option.
Comparison of a larch cut-out letter, with and without the chamfer option.
